My attempts to find a local Wryneck this year have failed, so I popped down to Portland Bill this morning to try and see one of the many Wrynecks spotted there this year.  Only one still around today, and not the approachable incredibly tame one that was there at the weekend.  So, only a record shot of a timid Wryneck.  Also, a Wheatear and one of the Portland Little Owls.

My attempts to find a local Wryneck this year have failed, so I popped down to Portland Bill this morning to try and see one of the Wrynecks hanging around there waiting to for the wind to change and cross the channel. I got there too late too the very approachable Wryneck that was there over the weekend. The only one I could find was a very timid, distant one. Also, a Little Owl, and a Wheatear.
