3am start to get to Arne at sun rise today. Hoping for some owls, maybe a Nightjar. But not too much about bird wise. Quite a few Sand Lizards though - managed to get some close ups.

A few photos of the red-spotted Bluethroat that turned up at RSPB Lodmoor in Weymouth today. I couldn't get there first thing, so only made it mid morning. Terrible light, and by that time he wasn't coming out into the open to feed. But I managed a few shots. First one I've ever seen.

A visit to the Quantock Hills this afternoon to look for Pied Flycatchers. Two seen, but no photos. However, some nice views of a Wood Warbler.
